Drake Visits Marvin's Room
Have you been having Drake withdrawals? You won't have to wait too long! His sophomore album, Take Care, will be out in October 24th! A new single will be out in July, but that doesn't mean we don't have any new material from the Toronto native.
Check out "Marvin's Room" below! A drunken Drake dials up an ex and reminisces about their relationship. The song is beautifully woven and seriously soothing.

Shakira Goes Rabiosa
Even though the Colombian belly dancer has been touring, Shakira found time to film a music video for her single, "Rabiosa" featuring Pitbull, from her album, Sale el Sol. Just like the meringue flavored song, it's hot!
Watch as Shakira crashes a party in a black bob wig and works a pole like no one I've ever seen! Why couldn't this video just be Shakira and a pole? Her body is to die for! Rabiosa!
Beyoncé Revists Her Youth
Whoever said youth was just for the young?.. not Beyoncé!Her fourth solo album, 4, made its rounds on the internet to somewhat less than stellar reactions. Sasha Fierce has pulled off her weave and opted for a head wrap. In other words, Beyoncé has gone hipster, kinda.
If you thought this would be anything like her previous album, you thought wrong! There aren't any upbeat dance tracks (not even "Party" featuring Andre 3000 and Kanye West) except for girl anthem "Run the World (Girls)"! But, there is "Countdown," a cousin of "Get Me Bodied" and includes a reference to The Fugees!
There are some serious love tracks on the record like "1+1," "Start Over," and "I Care." These three songs are some of the best work she's ever done as far as her album ballads are concerned. All three strike chords within me that haven't been struck before, and that's a serious feat! Her second single, "The Best I Never Had," sounds a lot like her past songs ("Irreplaceable," Deja Vu") but with a classier sound.
The best track on the album in my opinion has to be "End of Time." Set to the cadence of trumpets and drums Beyoncé sings about loving her man until the end of time. It's a standout track for me, and I've been listening to it since it leaked weeks ago. The most interesting track is arguably power ballad, "I Was Here," where Beyoncé explores the idea of fame-- in all its facets.
Although it's not the club anthem or diva sanctified album most people were expecting, 4 is a rock solid album reminiscent of 90s R&B and has this classic girl-rock vibe. It doesn't sound like anything in the pop world today, and I have to commend her for that!

Simon Curtis Takes Over!
R∆ is finally upon us!.. Simon Curtis's much anticipated sophomore album just hit iTunes and internet distributors! The unsigned artist has been hard at work on his album for a year, and after releasing two singles and two remixes, the entire album was released! If 8-Bit Heart was his coming out party, then R∆ is his declaration! Curtis sings with confidence like a seasoned professional. Although he hasn't left his robot schtick behind, he's grown from boy to man in two albums!
This isn't more apparent then in songs like "Flesh" where Simon teases sexual innuendos or in "Joshua" where Simon plays a bad boy. Curtis is experiencing his own Disney star gone bad transformation, and I'd say it's a hot one!
There are some undeniably amazing songs on this album ("Laser Guns Up," "Don't Dance," "Pit Of Vipers," "D.T.M."), but my personal favorite has to be the big boy pop sound of "Enemy."
If you're a fan of the dub-step featured in Britney Spears's Femme Fatale, the themes of Lady GaGa's The Fame, or 90s Max Martin pop, then you must check out this album!
Simon Curtis has got huge potential to be one of the biggest male pop stars of our generation!.. and, I wish him the best and congratulate him on a job well done!

It's Friday, Friday, Friday!
Actually, it's Tuesday! But, it'll be Friday soon!
Check out Katy Perry's teaser trailer for her latest single and soon-to-be #1 hit, "Last Friday Night (TGIF)"!
Move over Sasha Fierce, Kathy Beth Terry is coming for that weave!
The premiere date is set for June 14th!.. and, there will be a special cameo. See if you can spot her in the clip. If not, click here!
A Stage For A Queen!
Have you been wondering what Britney's Femme Fatale stage looks like?.. well, so was the Queen herself!
Check out this video as Britney sees her stage for the first time! It really is a beauty! There's a gorgeous light show, diva catwalk, and angel wings above the stage!
The screens in the background remind me a lot of what would have been for Michael Jackson's This Is It Tour!

GaGa, The Male Lady
Eminem has teamed up with Royce Da 5'9" to create duo known as Bad Meets Evil to release a new EP, Hell: The Sequel. The EP features the track, "A Kiss," in which Eminem calls out Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry!
Aaaaaaaand, cue the stan wars!
You know you've made it when Slim Shady is rapping about you, right? All the greats have been mimicked by Slim-- Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Mariah Carey!
Regardless, the song is amazing!.. it sounds like classic Eminem.
Parental advisory is advised!

Kanye West Is A Monster
... but you already knew that!
After a rough cut of the music video leaked months ago, we're finally getting the finished product!
Kanye West succumbed to pressure after being attacked for "condoning violence against woman." Violence, mind you, is not featured anywhere in the video; however, there are graphic images that could me construed as "violent." Personally, I think it's a work of art-- a beautifully horrific work of art.
It's upsetting that such a great song like this didn't get a properly fleshed-out release because of politics-- especially because Nicki Minaj's verse and acting are to die for!
What do you think of Kanye West and his cronies (Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj)? Are they condoning violence against woman?.. or, is it art?
Gwen Took Her Sweet Escape
Entertainment Weekly got the skinny on Gwen Stefani, and it seems like Gwen is saying, "Ta-Ta," to her Harajuku girls.
It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you’re at in that time in your life… [But] everything works out how it should. -Gwen Stefani, on her solo careerWhile I can't say that I'm not excited for No Doubt's resurrection, it's with bittersweet tears I say goodbye to the original Hollaback Girl and hello to the 90s angst band that brought us, "Don't Speak."
Also, note that the band is apparently supposed to make a special announcement this Friday! We can hope for some much anticipated album news!
Brit Goes Punk!
This is certainly a new look for Brit Brit! Are those colored extensions and a mickey mouse skull, I see? And, no, it's not Avril Lavigne!
Femme Fatale's third single, "I Wanna Go," hits the radio today, so the cover art for the Swedish pop monstrosity hit the web in all its youthful glory!
Are you excited yet for the music video?
Wynter is Coming!
"Dirty Talk" singer, Wynter Gordon, has finally finished her first studio effort, With The Music I Die! The LP will see release in Australia on June 17th, but only an EP will be available in the United States on June 28th!
The pint size dance diva topped the Billboard dance charts with 2010's "Dirty Talk," which became a #1 smash hit in the land down under!.. and, as it was a personal favorite of mine, I can vouch for what this woman can do!
Simon Curtis Takes His Freak Out!
Leave it to a hardcore Britney stan to show-ow-ow all the dirt running through his mind!... but, that's just what robot cutie, Simon Curtis, has done!
Gearing up to release his sophomore album, R∆, Curtis released his second single, "Flesh," on iTunes! The smut-filled sex romp is no doubt an ode to shameless pop princess, Britney Spears, but it's a diamond all its own!
Dark tones, a pulsating heartbeat, and intoxicating vocals-- it's sex in a four minute long audio file.
Be sure to preview and buy the single on iTunes here!
The Femme Fatale Half-Off!
The femme fatale announced via Twitter that in honor of her beau's newest business venture, famos.com, her fans have both the chance of discounted concert tickets and a chance to join her on stage!
Hurry and check to see if tickets are still available for your arena!.. they're selling like hot
